This semester, Dr. Lora Taub, Associate Professor and Department Chair of Media and Communication, and her Environmental Communication class are participating in a campaign to ban the sale of bottled water at the College.

They believe that the reason bottled water is so popular is simply because corporations have used advertising to convince the public that bottled water is safer and tastes better than tap water.

So I went to vote in the democratic primary today, to do my diplomatic duty as an involved and concerned citizen, and I was delighted to discover that the voting booths are now digital. This was my first time voting in Pennsylvania. In my home state of Connecticut, voting is performed in a manual booth.

Dear Editor,

Every once in a while I have the pleasure of opening up a Muhlenberg Weekly and reading a Joe Caporoso liberal rant. No matter how tired I am I always feel that rush of heated anxiety at ideas so backwards and in need of response that I wake right up.

April is finally here. Go outside, tan, burn, sleep. But don't forget, you are still miles away from the finish line. We are thinking to ourselves, "Yes! Only a couple of weeks left!" Then the onslaught of work hits our brains, and we panic, "No! Only a couple of weeks left!"

Remember when summer vacation was, well, a vacation? Not so anymore.

Enjoy a bottle of pure enriched oxygen-available in Mountain Mint, Tropical Breeze, Citrus Blast, Polar Rush and a host of other flavors.

This marketing scheme sounds absurd, right? Who would purchase a natural commodity that is already available in abundance, and made pure and safe due to our hard earned tax dollars? The answer is just about every convenience-obsessed individual with a disposable income, and unfortunately you and I probably fit into this category.

I had the beautiful experience of pulling an all nighter last night and I think it goes without saying that it was hardly an enjoyable experience. In fact, last night was even less enjoyable than usual. In the spirit of passover, one may ask, why was last night different from all other nights in the past? Well, frankly, because it was worse.

88 Minutes rivals 10,000 B.C. and The Heartbreak Kid as being the worst movie I've reviewed for The Weekly…and it comes away with the trophy. It's no surprise that it has been lingering on Columbia's shelves for more than a year (it came out on DVD in Germany early in 2007).

By now we're sure you've noticed that we like to categorize anything that has to do with sex. So here's three more for you:

Making love, having sex, and fu--let's call it ducking.
The only question worth asking you is: Why? Why would you create such an atrocious album? Why would you let down all the fans who have stuck by you through everything? They stood at your side when you made a complete fool out of yourself on national television during your infamous Saturday Night Live lip-synching incident.
