Opening night, although a little crazy, was certainly a memorable night for all its participants. The packed crowds in the Field House saw 12 games and almost all of the 22 teams take the court. While the first two days have answered a lot of the preseason question marks about the league, the marathon season has barely reached the first turn. Nonetheless, here's a list of observations and notes from the first two days of action. A list of ten statements to think about it, ten thoughts to keep you busy throughout class and the non-Intramural hours of the day; a list of ten thoughts to chew on:1. Team Wish is as good as advertised. The preseason favorites are off to a 3-0 start, winning by an average score of 83-53.
2. The B league champion will have to go through the Boats N Stoges squad.
3. Game of the Year may have already been determined. It's hard to imagine a game being more exciting that the double overtime thriller between the Sea Turtles and Razorbacks.
4. No team will attempt more thee pointers than Kon Tiki
5. Freshman Mark "Coatesville" Mounayar will be in the Field House for every single game of the season.
6. SoFrosh and SoClean may have the best name in the league and may also have a chance to win it.
7. Senior Joe Caporoso's buzzer-beater and game winner will be one of the best shots of the season
8.The highly anticipated matchup between the ManBearPigs and the FootBallers will be the most physical game in Intramural history.
9. The newly established Women's Intramural program appears to be a huge success.
10. Junior Michael Peischl will never, ever, ever stop talking and complaining.
