The Seagull, written by the late accomplished playwright Anton Chekhov, reveals the tensions, failures and yearnings of a family living in the harsh turn-of-the-century Russian landscape. The Muhlenberg Theatre Association's (MTA) production of one of Chekhov's most acclaimed plays will make its audience look closely at what happens when people fail in their beliefs.
You may have been approached by clowns, had your dinner interrupted by tap dancers in the Garden Room or listened to a variety of student bands while enjoying a barbeque dinner courtesy of Wood Dining Services all within the last week. All of these things, and many others, are signs of a new tradition emerging on campus at the hands of a few creative, motivated students: Arts Week.
As students walk by Walson Hall late at night, they may wonder what types of media enterprises have their home in the small academic building. Of course, the College's own radio station, WMUH, has their headquarters in Walson, but it also houses MCTV (Muhlenberg College Television).
