After taking a three week break, the Mules came back strong in the DeSales Invitational.

The women's cross country team placed fifth in a field of 27, their highest finish ever at this annual meet. Prior to this recent fifth place finish, the highest Mule finish at the DeSales Invitational was sixth place in 2001.

This year, the Mules finished just behind two Division III teams, Dickinson College and Kutztown University, both of whom are currently ranked within the top three teams in the region.

The Mules were ahead of two regionally ranked teams, DeSales and Susquehanna. DeSales finished seventh and Susquehanna, finished sixteenth at the Invitational.

Following this finish, the Mules were ranked eleventh in the Mideast region. There are five Centennial Conference teams in the Mideast's top ten.
