In the Frank Colden Invitational, both the men and women did well, with the men placing in several events and some women qualifying for the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships (ECACs.)
The men were able to place third in a field of sixteen, behind two Division II teams, West Chester University and Millersville College. Conference competitors Franklin and Marshall College, Ursinus College, Johns Hopkins University and Gettysburg College also competed , placing fourth, sixth, seventh, and ninth, respectively.
Though none of their runners qualified for ECACs, the team was able to maintain high marks, placing in the top three positions in five events. Sophomore Lex Mercado finished second in the mile with a time of 4:29.47. Sophomore Stephen Rothwell finished at 4:29.51.
In the 4x400m, Mercado, Rothwell, Senior co-Captain Calvin Tintle and Junior Jason Finkelstein came in second place with a time of 3:31.26. The 4x200m team, Tintle, Finkelstein, Mercado and Junior Caffrey Garff, placed third. Their time of 1:36.33 was just nineteen seconds shy of their time in the Orange and Maroon Classic.

The women placed fifth in the Invitational, with Centennial Conference competitors, Franklin and Marshall and Ursinus Colleges placing sixth and fourteenth, respectively.

Their first place win was just thirteen hundredths of a second short of the College record. Though they did not break the record, their time did qualify them for the ECACs. Seiler ran the 400m in 61.43 and finished in third.
Senior Ashlie Hankee had already qualified twice for the ECACs in the 55m hurdles. In this meet, she lowered her time to 8.81. She placed second in this event; Sophomore Rachel Drosdick placed in sixth. She had a time of 9.17.
Senior Jenna Belisonzi raced in the 3,000m and came away with a time of 10:41.14. This second place time is the second-best time in the College's history. The best time, 10:23.54, was set by Amanda Watcher '93. This time made her the latest addition to the ECAC qualifiers.
