Oprah Winfrey's school in Africa has been hit with very serious allegations regarding a sort of abuse evoked on the students, both physical and sexual. The South African school has faced other problems, as well. Since its opening parents have believed the school was too strict on the girls.

Though these new allegations have caused Winfrey to fly to South Africa for emergency meetings twice in the past week, she has already hired counselors, and is vowing to help the girls. At the emergency meeting with the parents and families of the girls over the weekend Winfey apologized, saying, "I've disappointed you. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry."

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has been hit with intense criticism following an interview in the magazine GQ. The actor/governor stated that despite being filmed smoking marijuana in the Seventies, he has never done drugs. What caused the controversy is that he then stated, in regards to marijuana, "That is not a drug. It's a leaf. My drug was pumping iron, trust me."

He then went on to say, "What would you rather have? A politician taking stuff and not saying, but making the best decisions and improving things? Or a politician who names all the drugs he or she has taken but makes lousy decisions for the country?... Why should I care if a politician takes sleeping pills every night so long as he can do his job?"

His rep replied to the controversy, saying that the comments were taken out of context and that he does believe marijuana to be a drug.
