Sound beyond Sight is the Dynamics' third studio album, a follow up to Charged, which was released in 2005. The title, which pays homage to the group's alumni, is a reference to the fact that although they have graduated Muhlenberg, their voices are still powerful, and can still be heard even if they are not actually seen.

This title is fitting, as the album was recorded over two years, so some of the people featured on the album have moved beyond the bubble. Some examples of the old favorites that can be heard on this album are "Somewhere over the Rainbow" (as performed by Judy Garland) sung by Ashley Wallace '07, "Spiderwebs" (as performed by No Doubt) sung by Rebecca Martin '06 and "Devils and Angels" (as performed by Toby Lightman) sung by Allie O'Connor '07, as well as many others.

Newer songs featured are "Brandy" (as performed by Looking Glass) featuring Scott Parkinson '10, "Soul Meets Body" (as performed by Death Cab for Cutie), a duet sung by Colin Hooker-Haring '10 and Julia DeMilio '10 and Unwritten (as performed by Natasha Bedingfield) sung by Emily Herring '09.

The group certainly lives up to their name on this album, singing classics as well as newer Top 40 hits, upbeat songs as well as ballads, and songs with a funnier tone as well as more serious ones.

Sound beyond Sight definitely needs to be heard. You should head to their table in Seegers or the bookstore right now and get yourself a copy. You won't be disappointed.
