Muhlenberg's Track and Field Team has certainly made a habit of breaking records so far this season. On Sat., Feb. 9 the Team competed in the Bucknell Winter Classic Division I meet, and found the same success they have all year.

Breaking his previous school record, junior David Chorney qualified for ECACs as he raced in the 3,000 meters. Freshman Abby Simons qualified as well, but in the 1,000 meters.

Chorney and Simons shared the spotlight with teammate Brendan Kirk '10 who finished seventh in the 400 meters. Kirk also qualified for the finals in the 55-meter hurdles and then helped his relay team to a first-place finish in its heat by just one-hundredth of a second.

For the Women, sophomore Lauren Conicella had a strong performance in the 800 meters with a time of 2:28.91. For the Men's squad, sophomore Jeremiah Lachaud finished the 55 meters in a time of 6.73, and junior Stuart Udis along with freshman Bobby Torphy also performed well in the 800 meters.

Next up for the Mules is a trip to the Lafayette Rider Games on Fri., Feb. 15. Hopefully they will be able to continue their record-breaking ways and keep their team on the winning track.
