This week the Women's Basketball Team only played one game, traveling down to Philadelphia to play against Bryn Mawr. The Mules were looking to capture their fourth straight win as they continue to dominate the Centennial Conference. The Mules trailed 4-0 before taking control of the game in a decisive 63-38 win. The Mules would go on a 14-0 run to take a 10-point lead and would have as big as a 15-point lead in first half. Freshman Sheila Cook and junior Lauren Boyle led the way for the Mules in the first half with a combined 17 points.

The second half was more of the same from the Mules. They achieved their biggest lead of the game, 28 points, just over eight minutes into the half by capping a 21-6 run with a lay-up by sophomore Kaitlyn O'Malley. The Mule lead would not drop below 23 and they would match their 28-point lead two more times. The Mules were led by Cook and Boyle who finished with 18 and 13 points respectively. Boyle also contributed a team high 8 rebounds, followed by freshman guard Kelly McKeon who contributed 6. Senior Abra Like helped the Mules' cause with a team high 4 assists. The Mule victory boosts their overall record to 16-5 and their intra-Conference record to 11-3. The win also keeps them one game ahead of Franklin & Marshall for second place in the Conference and just one game behind Dickinson. The Mules will host the Red Devils on Wed., Feb. 20 in a game that could decide the regular season Centennial Conference champion and which school will host the Conference Tournament.

As many of you may know, this week is "Think Pink Week" and the Women's Basketball Team is doing its part to help out. "Think Pink Week" raises awareness about breast cancer and is a chance for the community to raise money to help the cause. The fun starts Friday when the girls will have a table in Seeger's Union selling pink ribbons and collecting donations.

Then Saturday stop by the gym for both the guys' and the girls' games against Johns Hopkins at 2:00 and 4:00. The gym will be decorated in pink and the fans are encouraged to wear as much pink as possible. The players and referees will all be wearing some form of pink during the day and collections will be made at the first stoppage of either half during the Men's game. Please come support the teams and a worthy cause in the fight against breast cancer.
