Coasting on a four-game winning streak, the Men's Tennis Team found their momentum screech to a halt. The Washington (Md.) Shoremen beat the Mules 8-1, with sophomore Robbie Goldwein notching the only win at No. 1 singles.
The Mules bounced back, though, in a match against Franklin & Marshall. In a close competition, the Mules came out on top 5-4. Junior Brian Wernick won by a score of 7-5 to capture the victory for his team. Freshman Wayne Mitchel and senior Jamie Goldman won 8-0 at No. 3 doubles. They also won their singles matches.
For the Women's Team, wins have been more difficult to come by as of late. Swarthmore snapped the Mules' six-match winning streak, 5-4. Freshmen Caitie Druker and Sara Sutker won as a combo in doubles and also won their singles matches.
The Mules were unfortunately unable to start a new winning streak in their next match against Salisbury. Losing 6-3, Druker won her match at No. 1 singles.
