At the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell, junior Timothy Van Syckle stole the show. Taking over the school record in the 10,000 meters, Van Syckle beat the previous record by almost a full minute. His time of 31:23.74 was plenty to qualify him for the ECACs. Senior Michael Karchner also qualified with a score of 5515 in the decathlon. Sophomore Brendan Kirk qualified in the 400 hurdles, and junior David Chorney qualified in the 1,500 meters.
Sophomore Lauren Conicella and freshman Abby Simons had strong performances for the women at the meet. Coming up for the team is the Greyhound Invitational hosted by Moravian.
