The Volleyball team was busy over Fall Break. While the majority of us returned to our homes, the Lady Mules traveled to California to take on two teams: Pomona-Pitzer and Claremont. In the match against Pomona, Megan Young led the team in both assists and blocks with 13 and 3, respectively. In the match against Claremont, Megan Young had 15 kills and Phylicia Lee had 13. Both California teams beat Muhlenberg 3-0. Upon arrival back home, the Mules synched a win against Bryn Mawr in a 3-1 match. This was a difficult game for the Mules, however, because their starting setter was out. Senior Megan Young and sophomore Brittany Williams took over the setter position and had a combined total of 38 assists. Senior Jess Anselmi had 18 kills and sophomore Liz Leslie spiked another 11.

At their final away game, The Mules lost a match in four games to Franklin & Marshall. The Mules defense was outstanding in this game; four players had digs in the double digits. Megan Young had 24, Phylicia Lee had 21, and Megan Eiser and Christina Cangelosi both had 18.

This week, the Mules will take on Ursinus and Gettysburg at home.
